Ft. Lauderdale Green Screen Studio used for G.I. Joe 2 Promos
Needing to recreate the interior of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's tank from GI Joe 2 for a series of FOX Animation Domination promos, Canvas Films was tasked with providing everything from the tank's interior set, 2 RED One MX cameras, Director of Photography and all other crews and services needed to accomplish what the studio and network required.
Working with a director from the LA company Fuzzbusters and executives from Paramount Studios, Canvas Films was hired to provide all needed production services, crew, studio location and sets/props for a promo shoot for the upcoming blockbuster movie, GI Joe 2.
Tasked with creating and building the same tank interior used by The Rock’s character Roadblock in the movie, Canvas Films provided a perfect replica using only screen grabs taken from the finished film.
As well, Canvas Films completely broke down the tank set and re-lit for green screen stand-ups and interviews that Dwayne Johnson was shooting, all in the limited time that he was available to be on set.
Finally, utilizing our in-house 4K DaVinci Resolve suite and expert colorist, Canvas Films delivered color corrected master footage to both Fuzzbusters and Paramount Studios within 2 days of the wrapping the production.
